Vhahangwele (Val) Masutha is the founder and owner of V Physiotherapy Inc. She completed her BSc in Physiotherapy at the University of Cape Town in 2010. She has also completed her MSc in Physiotherapy at Witswatersrand University in 2021. She has a special interest in musculoskeletal and orthopaedic rehabilitation. She has successfully completed her Orthopaedic Manipulative Therapy (OMT1) qualification.
Val was born in Venda and raised in Cape Town. She has a passion for people and is an avid runner, reader and learner.
Zenzele Msweli was born in Mtuba and raised in Durban, he then completed his BSc (hons) in physiotherapy at The University of The Western Cape in 2019. He has a special interest in sports, orthopaedic, respiratory, musculoskeletal, paediatrics and men’s health rehabilitation. He is driven by the belief that a good physiotherapist has a have a brain of a scientist, a heart of a human and hands of an artist.
Maboloke Nepo Serage completed her BSc in Physiotherapy at the University of Cape Town in 202. She is currently pursuing her MSc in Sports and Exercise Physiotherapy at the University of Cape Town. She has a special interest in sports, orthopaedic and neuromusculoskeletal rehabilitation.
She holds additional certifications in sports massage, dry needling, and specific sports taping. Committed to lifelong learning, she is passionate about providing evidence-based, hands-on treatment tailored to her patients’ needs.
Her love for sport and people is inspired by her personal journey as a former national women’s hockey indoor and outdoor goalkeeper, representing South Africa at the FIH World Cup and the Birmingham 2022 Commonwealth Games.
Shayleen Algooram graduated with B Physiotherapy from the University of Kwazulu-Natal in 2018. She has post-graduate qualifications in dry needling, strapping and pain management. She is experienced in treating many sport injuries, pre and post orthopaedic rehabilitation, acute and chronic back and neck pain.
Her goal when it comes to her patients, is getting them back to their everyday life, pain-free and moving better. She believes MOVEMENT IS HEALING!
